Carly Webb, Founder and Director of Vitus Wellbeing can announce her business has been named as finalists in three different awards so far this year. Webb, 33, a highly regarded Psychotherapist, relocated to London ten years ago, originally working in the charity sector. Webb launched Vitus Wellbeing after her solo psychotherapy practice reached capacity and became oversubscribed during the coronavirus pandemic. Seeing an opportunity for growth and to help more people in need, Webb began building the business in January 2021 before launching to the public last April.
Vitus Wellbeing (www.vituswellbeing.com) is a Private Psychotherapy Clinic, based in Fulham, South-West London, successfully supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples and families to improve their mental health and relationships. Boasting a team of seven specialist Psychotherapists and a suite of welcoming therapy rooms in South-West London, the expert practitioners see clients face-to-face, as well as remotely via Zoom.
Having launched in April 2021, the business now holds three award nominations for 2022:
- The Lloyds Bank Local Business of the Year Award in The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards (British Business Excellence Awards Lloyds bank London)
- Best Services Start-Up in the National Start-Up Awards (www.freshbusinessthinking.com/national-startup-awards/)
- Best New Business in the Best Businesswomen Awards (https://bestbusinesswomenawards.com/)
The winners of all three awards will be announced at their respective award ceremonies this Autumn.
Webb, 33, is proud to see Vitus Wellbeing thrive in the city she calls home. Highly experienced in working with adults and adolescents herself, Webb is thrilled to have a team supporting her and offering their wealth of knowledge and experience to younger children, couples and whole families too. With specialist expertise in most common mental health conditions and life crises, as well as the knowledge and skill to work with self-harm and suicidal ideation in both children and adults, the clinic is in high demand. In creating Vitus Wellbeing, Webb has formed a vital mental health resource in a short space of time – demonstrating the need for highly skilled practitioners when the nation’s mental health is in decline. Webb attributes some of the clinic’s success to the relationships they hold with their clients:
“Our clients are all going through something and trying to navigate a challenging chapter in their lives. At Vitus Wellbeing, we aim to match each client to the right therapist for them – helping to ease some of the burden of seeking a therapist while helping each client to feel less alone. We communicate warmly but professionally and are trusted to offer specialist care.”
Hundreds of companies entered each of the prestigious awards, hoping to be recognised for their hard work, innovation and success. Vitus Wellbeing has seen incredible growth to date and is thrilled to be receiving such recognition within the business community, especially in its relative infancy.
Webb commented:
“It means an enormous amount for our work to be acknowledged at such a high level. I launched Vitus Wellbeing as there was a real need for more expert mental health services in the UK. We’re a small clinic but we’re making a big difference to the mental health of London’s children, adults, couples and families. Our team care enormously about every one of our clients and we feel privileged to support them with their emotional wellbeing and through their personal crises. Being short-listed for such prestigious awards is incredibly encouraging and validates the hard work to date.”
Having recently been quoted in The Independent, Stylist and Vice, Webb is well-respected in the media and becoming a go-to professional for psychological insight.
Sarah Austin, Founder & Director of The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, commented on the shortlist announcement:
“Everyone involved with The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards is delighted by the sheer calibre of competition amongst the finalists this year. The Awards prides itself on being the UK’s premier celebration of business, recognising resilience, innovation and all-round brilliance. The setting for the ceremony is truly show stopping, taking place at the Grosvenor Hotel in London. The entire team are brimming with anticipation and excitement for what will be the business event of the year.”
We’ll wait to see if Vitus Wellbeing is awarded the top prize for their nominations and will monitor their growth in the years to come.
