The Best Business Women Awards finalists for 2022, have been announced! They include an incredible selection of businesswomen from across the UK.
The past two years have tested business owners to the limit, and these determined women have continued to drive their businesses forward.
The judging panel were impressed by the creativity, tenacity and excellent business acumen demonstrated in the selected finalists.
These prestigious awards are designed to recognise the achievement of female entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries. All of whom are excelling in their chosen field.
Local businesswoman Caroline Marshall from Bounds Green has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best New Business category.
Caroline Marshall founded her VA agency when the country went into lockdown in April 2022. Running around after a toddler as the main carer and pregnant with her second – it started as a result of struggling with the working world since becoming a parent.
After experiencing redundancy and furlough within 18 months of having a child, Caroline decided to follow her passion of helping business owners thrive and return to the VA work she had loved pre-motherhood.
From her kitchen table in Bounds Green – Upsource was born!
Upsource supports other businesses to thrive by encouraging them to outsource their admin, giving them the time to focus on their priorities.
In two years, they have grown to a team of 25 Virtual Assistants. Providing flexible work to fellow women and mothers.
In the past year they have been awarded with ‘Best Newcomer VA 2021’ and ‘Miss Jones VA agency of the year 2022’.
Caroline is now delighted to be a finalist in the Best Business Women Awards 2022.
Debbie Gilbert, the organiser of The Best Business Women Awards, said ‘This is the 8th year of these prestigious awards, and despite the difficult circumstances business owner have faced, these businesswomen have shone through the dark times. Our judging panel, all business experts, were blown away by the quality of the entrants. All our finalists are all shining examples of being successful entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.’
The Gala Final will be held at the Hilton Wembley on 30th September 2022, where the Gold Winners of each category will be announced.
