Solution Performance Group appoints new group finance director to support expansion

Solution Performance Group (SPG) has appointed Ian Noble as group finance director as the business pursues international growth and prepares for potential acquisitions.

Noble, who has held senior finance roles in international recruitment and large corporates, joins at a time when the Leeds-based group is expanding its presence in the US and continental Europe.

SPG Resourcing and SPG Intelligence sit under the wider Solution Performance Group. SPG Resourcing specialises in providing rapid access to technology talent, while SPG Intelligence works with public and private sector clients to modernise cloud infrastructure, enhance digital security, and deploy AI tools such as automation and intelligent agents. Together, the two businesses reflect the group’s broader strategy to position itself at the crossroads of talent, technology and AI-driven transformation.

Ian Noble said: “I am joining SPG at an exciting stage of its development. The group has ambitious plans for growth, and I look forward to helping shape its financial strategy while supporting the business in delivering for clients worldwide.”

The group has grown rapidly over the past two years, supplying specialist talent in areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity and data science, while also advising organisations on digital transformation. SPG now aims to extend this combined model into new markets.

Sam Hameed, group managing director, added: “Ian’s experience will be invaluable in helping us drive efficiency and accelerate growth across the group. His financial leadership will play a key role in ensuring we can scale effectively and pursue acquisitions.”
